Twas the Night Before Christmas and
all through the house everything was stirring!!
The doorway was decorated along with the table...
Highly scented Eucalyptus and Bay along with pine cones and some clove studded oranges.
A jolly array of bright red berries dressed up lace table cloths and a cherished collection of ornaments added sparkle and charm. Nestled all along were tiny votives. Candelabras created a glamourous glow.
One of Santa's finest helpers went to work on our now famous "Mr. Jefferson's Candied Nuts".
He made Almonds, Pecans and walnuts with his secret spice combination for each one. Then he created the spicy batches of Cashews and Peanuts. Highly addictive, these hot & sweet nutty bundles explode with flavor.
The team next began the quiche with a lively competition to crack the eggs..
Finally the tasty tale of the Tropical Trifle began to emerge...
And while Santa's sister made a spectacular salad with a fresh savory Miso dressing...
the highlight of the Buffet, The Lobster Bisque, was mellowing and deepening in flavor.
The guests arrived and the impressive spread began to glow & beckon.
And the heart of the evening revealed it's self, slowly, with a richness that only a genuine spirit of this precious holiday can excite.
Magical and mystical, we think we did hear, a powerful
voice from far far away...a message so clear,
just calling to each one,
"happy Christmas to all & to all a good night".
wow I have never seen a more lucious sounding spread! lobster bisque and tropical trifle! quiche wow when do we eat? thanks for sharing :)
