One of the Daughters of Jefferson's Table was the star of the evening, right along with her adorable new baby son?
What a surprise you say? Never heard of a Baby Shower where the Baby was partying right along with all the guests? Well, contemplate this glamorous soiree, a thoroughly new take on the classic pastel tea party style baby shower. First you must imagine a dark and bewitching atmosphere complete with Frank Sinatra crooning in the background. All the girl friends are dressed way up for the occasion. Many arrived in their best beguiling black cocktail dress, fitting snugly, and some ravishing high heels.
The hors d'oeuvre table was laden with a tantalizing collection of specialties created by the guests. There was a lovely platter of Rumaki and another for the Vegans, a delicious cheese timbal. layered and topped with roasted pine nuts and tasty mini dumplings with a spicy dipping sauce. There were tiny sandwiches and dips with chips (very retro) and cakes & cookies.
A great blog can give one person new feeling, let person get happiness, let person to broaden people's horizons. I think so your blog that is.

That martini looks sooooo good. A few of those and a depeche mode and boy I would'a been all over the dance floor, in a good way, that is :)

Thks for the lovely pix & the Martini looks refreshing for a hot day like Singapore :) Interesting crackers for the rim instead of the usual salt.
