Vegan Key lime Pie martini
2 ounces Stoli Vanilla Vodka
1 ounce Coco Real (coconut syrup)
1 ounce Rose's sweetened lime juice
1 ounce Silk French Vanilla Soy Creamer
crushed Graham Crackers for the rim
One of the Daughters of Jefferson's Table was the star of the evening, right along with her adorable new baby son?
What a surprise you say? Never heard of a Baby Shower where the Baby was partying right along with all the guests?
The hors d'oeuvre table was laden with a tantalizing collection of specialties created by the guests. There was a lovely platter of Rumaki and another for the Vegans, a delicious cheese timbal. layered and topped with roasted pine nuts and tasty mini dumplings with a spicy dipping sauce. There were tiny sandwiches and dips with chips (very retro) and cakes & cookies.
But...all the real excitement could be found at the Creative Martini Bar set up on the patio and tended by some of the sporty husbands (Thanks guys).
Soon all the fun started, just passing around the beautiful new baby and toasting him with some of the super juicy "tinis" below.

Then, when the Baby fell asleep, all the high, high heels came off and the music changed to Depeche Mode, Michael Jackson and the dancing stars of the 80's...as we walked out the door we knew a page had been turned in the great book on how to have a fabulous Shower. We imagined they were going to dance through the nineties and ending? who knows??
